Lazy Flora is hiring

A huge thank you to all who have applied and who have shown interest in working with Lazy Flora. We have been absolutely inundated with applications from some truly brilliant people. I am now carefully reading through every single application and will contact everyone who has applied just as soon as I can. Please bear with me in the meantime.

Lazy Flora Founder

Lots of exciting things are happening at Lazy Flora, so I'm SO excited to announce that we're now looking for a wonderful Social Media and Marketing expert to join the Lazy Flora team on a freelance basis.

Social Media & Marketing expert

  • Generate content to post on Instagram and Facebook once a day – recycling content where appropriate, generating new content where needed. Using appropriate hashtags.
  • Post on Twitter 2x per day.
  • Engage on Social media for up to 1 hour every day: responding to comments, commenting on other posts, sharing useful/interesting content.
  • Writing weekly blog posts for Lazy Flora.
  • Take beautiful photos of new products for Lazy Flora for inclusion on website and on social media (see our Instagram for examples).

Ideal person

  • Has a proven track record of building highly engaged audiences that convert to customers.
  • Have a friendly and approachable style of writing.
  • Deep knowledge of plants, flowers and gardening is not essential, but you’ll need to know some basic information about plants (it can easily be researched in google, of course). You’ll need to have an interest in them though.
  • Take great plant and lifestyle photos.
  • On a very practical level, for plant delivery purposes, you must be UK-mainland, and must have access to (an outdoor) space where you can take photos of our beautiful plants.

If you fit the bill, or if you know someone who does, please fill in this lovely application form. ***APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.***

Deadline for applications is Friday 11 May.

Thank you so much for taking the time to apply: we're really looking forward to hearing from you!
