Lazy Flora was founded in 2017 to meet a need. Our founder, Claire, lived in a city centre flat with a small balcony, but struggled to find anywhere in the city to buy high-quality plants to turn her outdoor space into an oasis. Plus, have you ever tried to life a 20-litre bag of compost up 10 flights of stairs?
Thus, Lazy Flora was born. Bringing premium plants and the tools you need to plant them straight to your door.
Ever since then it’s been our mission to get as many people as possible gardening. Whether you have a small balcony or outdoor space, or aches to work with - Lazy Flora has something for you. And we’re here to make it easy. Even if you’ve never lifted a trowel or don’t think you have the time, you can garden with us. I mean, it’s right there in the name… we’re Lazy Flora.
And if that’s not enough to convince you, here’s six ways we make gardening as easy as tying your shoelaces.
We bring the plants straight to your door
This first one is pretty obvious, but it’s worth emphasising the point. Our fab delivery partner brings your new plant friends straight to your door from Lazy Flora HQ.
This is particularly handy if you don’t live near a garden centre - or just can’t find the time to go.
Plus, our plant boxes are specially curated by our team of experts, so you know that all the plants you’ll receive in the box will complement each other and the season. That means you also don’t have to waste hours trying to figure out what to buy and when.
Step-by-step planting guide and care instructions
All our plants and subscription boxes come with full step-by-step care instructions for every plant in the box.
Our plant care guide will tell you exactly where to put your new plants in your garden or where to place them in your home.
There will be instructions on how much light and water they need, what garden pests they might come up against, when they’ll bloom, and even a little bit about each plant and its origins.
Simples.
We even bring the compost (if you want it!)
Our outdoor subscription boxes come with the option of adding compost to box the 8 and 16 plant boxes.
Along with your plants we’ll bring you either 10 or 20-liters of our top-quality peat-free compost - this is plenty for your new plants. It’s also delivered in paper bags that are strong enough to deliver compost to your door, but which are also biodegradable - no plastic packing here!
So, as we said, if you can’t get to the garden centre, there’s no worries.
Delivery dates to suit you
You can choose to have your outdoor subscription boxes delivered in 1, 2 or 3 monthly intervals.
You can also choose which date you’d like your new plants to be delivered so you can fit your new hobby around your busy schedule.
Our plants are shipped from our warehouse using DPD’s 24-hour delivery service and you’ll also receive an email and a text with your two-hour delivery window, so you can always be sure when your new plants are going to arrive.
Flexible payment options
For all our subscription boxes - whether indoor, outdoor, edible or combo - you can choose to either pay for the full year or pay-as-you-go. If you choose the latter, you can also cancel anytime.
That puts you in complete control of your subscription. Easy peasy.
Something for everyone
Indoor, outdoor or edible - all you have to do is choose! If you’ve got outdoor space then you will love our beautiful, especially curated, seasonal outdoor subs boxes.
