How to care for your Syngonium Mottled | 13cm | Rare houseplant

Native habitat

Native to tropical rainforests in southern Mexico, the West Indies, Central and South America.

Light and position in the home

Your Syngonium will be happiest in bright, indirect light. By an east or north facing window is ideal. Avoid full, direct sunlight.

Watering

Although your Syngonium has a slight tolerance for drought, it will prefer regular watering for optimum growth. These plants can be susceptible to root rot, so water only once the top 1-2 inches of soil feels dry and ensure your pot has drainage. Pop your finger into the soil to see if it needs a drink. Potting mix will need to be well-draining.
