How to care for your Sansevieria Zeylanica Fan

Native habitat

Sansevieria zeylanica more commonly known as bowstring hemp are native to Africa.

Light and position in the home

Unusual for succulents, Sansevieria survive low light and thrive in bright, indirect light with a few hours sun which means you have lots of choice where to display your plant.

Watering and humidity

Needs just a good splash of water once the soil dries out and doesn't like sitting in water so allow the water to drain away completely.
