Variegated Rubber plant

Ficus elastica

£20.00
The rubber plant is another one of those plants that seem to be made of steel. They are very hard to kill and can tolerate above average amounts of neglect, making them an ideal choice for people with busy lives.

This variety has beautiful variegated leaves edged in shades of pink and cream. It makes a beautiful addition to any plant collection.

Rubber plants secrete sap that can be toxic to humans and pets alike, so take care when handling this plant.

How to care for your Variegated Rubber plant

Native habitat

Originally native to South/southeast Asia, the ficus can now be found naturalised in many places around the world, from Sri Lanka to Florida.

Light and position in the home

This plant likes bright but indirect light, it can cope however with lower light levels.
