Growing a chilli pepper (aka Capsicum) might seem like an intimidating task but it’s actually so versatile it can be grown almost anywhere, making it the perfect plant for foodies who want to give homegrown a go.
We’re not kidding. Your pepper plant will thrive on a sunny windowsill, in a greenhouse, or even in a pot in the garden. Just make sure it’s kept in temperatures of between 18-21 degrees Celsius and has access to sunlight for some hours of the day.
Your plant will need watered regularly and fed liquid fertilizer as it begins to grow fruit. It may also need a little support from a stake if it gets heavy.
