The calibrachoa is a half-hardy perennial that brings year-round interest into your garden. The small petunia-like flowers are a dainty addition to your space and add some rounded textures to your borders or beds. The clump-forming green foliage looks attractive in a hanging basket or container. This calibrachoa comes with bright pink flowers that adds some traditional texture and colour that will be great for the front of your borders or a bare space in your garden from June to October.

This drought tolerant and self-cleaning plant is a low fuss and easy to maintain addition to your garden. Plant in well-draining soil in a sunny or partially shaded location sheltered from harsh winds. Apply a layer of bone meal to the soil in the autumn for healthy roots and good spring growth.

Keep well-watered, adding water only after the top inch or so of the soil dries out. Lessen how much you water towards the winter and increase slightly during warmer months or dry spells.

Feed with a liquid fertilizer once every fortnight during the spring and summer or once a month if using a solid granular slow-release fertilizer. How often should I prune my calibrachoa? The calibrachoa is a self-cleaning plant so you don't need to deadhead or prune them. However, if you still want to remove plants as they start to go brown you can do so, and it may encourage new blooms to grow faster.
