Light and position in the home

The Kentia Palm will do fine in lower light conditions, however, it will be happy to receive some indirect light to encourage growth and avoid getting too leggy. Find a room which receives some indirect sunlight away from direct midday sun.

Watering

The way to test soil moisture is by using your finger. If the top inch or so is dry, then it is time to water your palm. In the winter, some dryness is ok, and we advise you water less during these months and then increase watering in the spring/summer.
