If you've ever wondered how you can make your garden a little more bee friendly, then planting Lavender is the perfect way to do it. Lavender is highly sought after and super recognisable, both in appearance and for its strong fragrance. With its uses in aromatherapy, and as a sleep aid too it's hard to find a reason not to plant it. It’s also just really lovely to look at.
For indoor growing, your Lavender will do best in a south-facing window or anywhere it can get a minimum of three to four hours of direct sunlight a day. Water thoroughly and don’t let the soil ever completely dry out.
Outside, your Lavender needs full sun but not a lot of moisture. Water deeply but infrequently and let the soil dry out in between. A bright, sunny windowsill or patio is the ideal place for your Lavender.
