Mexican Fire Barrel Cactus

Ferocactus pilosus

This striking looking cactus is one of the most spectacular species of barrel cactus and is perfect for cacti enthusiasts!

The most striking feature on this plant is the red spines! These are bright and vibrant when new and turn to a pale grey as they age. Like most cacti, this plant is really easy to care for and their slow growth means they will be a long-term companion which you can keep for many years.

This cactus is non-toxic for cats and dogs but be careful of sharp spines on delicate paws!
