Parsley will grow best in full sun to partial shade, in moist but well-drained soil. It will be happy growing in pots as well as in the borders.
Keep the soil consistently moist during the growing season, which could be around 2-3 times per week or when the soil feels dry to touch. Parsley will let you know when it's thirsty by wilting, however it will perk back up again once watered.
Parsley is one of the most popular and versatile herbs in British, European and Middle Eastern cooking and it can be used as a garnish for food and drinks or used in certain dishes to enhance the flavour. The best way to harvest your parsley is by cutting stems at the base. It is often recommended to keep more than one parsley plant at any one time so you can harvest from one while the other is left to make new growth. Parsley leaves can be dried and stored, or chopped and frozen for later use.
We want you to love what we do as much as we do and so if you are unhappy with any aspect of your Lazy Flora delivery, please let us know and we will always make it right. This includes replacing or refunding any plants that don't make it past the first 30 days in your home, no questions asked.
