A small plant often found in the arctic regions of the world, the Saxifrage is a mat-forming shrub, with simple lobed leaves and starry flowers this is a delicate and beautiful addition to any outdoor space. Also known as 'rockfoils’ these plants are suited for rock, gravel and coastal gardens or as ground cover plants, wherever you place them you can be certain of a carpet of colour in your space.
How to grow Saxifraga
Plant in a full-sun or partially shaded area with well-draining sand or loam soil. Water lightly to keep the soil moist, but not wet and fertilize once in early spring with a good quality liquid fertilizer. Saxifrage do not need to be pruned. For the best result plant during mid-autumn.

This will depend on the variety, but a 10cm plant will usually take 2-3 years to reach full height
