Comes in a 10.5cm diameter pot

Thunbergia alata, commonly called the ‘black-eyed Susan vine’ for its striking appearance, is native to Eastern Africa and makes a tropical-looking showstopper in any garden. This variety blooms with heart-shaped leaves in a vivid orange colour, with a dark black to purple centre.

And, as well as being amazing to look at, black-eyed Susan’s are also super kind to our friends the bees. Butterflies and a variety of other insects are also attracted to the flowers for the nectar.

They prefer full sun, though they’ll grow in partial shade and like to be kept quite dry, so water infrequently.
