This compact, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial produce lance-shaped, pointed green leaves up a green stem. Deep-coloured blue flowers grow from the top of the branches throughout summer and are attractive to butterflies, adding height, texture and life to your space.

How to grow veronica plants
Plant in moderately fertile or loam soil that receives full sun or partial shade. Water well to keep the soil moist, but not wet, as it may rot the roots. Ensure that the location is sheltered from cold winds. Once flowers die, cut the stem about halfway to encourage new growth throughout the season.

What is a perennial plant?
Unlike annuals, which only live for one season, perennial plants are a long-term solution to colour in your garden that will come back year after year. Typically, a perennial will only bloom for one season of the year. However, there are long-blooming perennials. If grown in the right conditions and treated well, a perennial can live between three and five years. For a garden with colour all around, you should plant a mix of annuals and perennials that bloom in different seasons.
This VERONICA teucrium Knallblau comes in a 9cm Pot
